French alt-pop artist L.A. Rochelle has dropped a great new single in the form of ‘IDONTEVERWANNATHINKABOUTYOUNOMORE’. It’s a memorable, if not slightly complex, title, and is taken from his upcoming EP, Chapter 1: Denial/Anger, which drops on March 4^th, 2022. Musically, the single is a beautifully produced slice of R&B-influenced pop that blends smooth instrumentals with his uniquely produced lead vocals. He jumps between French and English lyrics as he tells a story that alternates between his subconscious and psyche, respectively. “This wasn’t written as a romantic pop song: it’s an inner monologue capturing the war between my head and my heart as I struggle to accept the fact that one of my best friends has taken the life of my other best friend.” We can’t wait for the EP. -Dan Peeke
